Veteran NBA star Nate Robinson has played 11 seasons in his career with the Knicks, Celtics, Thunder, Warriors, Bulls, Nuggets, Clippers and Pelicans and put up a good fight against the opponents on the court. But lately, he has been fighting a different battle.
Robinson, a longtime NBA fan favorite, announced Saturday that he is undergoing treatment for kidney failure after a four-year battle with the illness, as reported by Shams Charania. He had the intention “To be the voice for all those who are having trouble speaking about this illness, and come together for a greater cause – our health.”

Fans and well-wishers have expressed their concern and wished speedy recovery to this veteran star. People from all over the world are sending their thoughts and prayer for Nate and he has conveyed his gratitude towards them.
He said, “I am currently undergoing treatment for Renal Kidney Failure and have been privately dealing with it for the last four years. I’m sharing this now because I want to be the voice for all those who are having trouble speaking about this illness, and come together for a greater cause – our health.
“I am grateful for the care and support I’ve received and continue to receive during this process, and hope through this announcement that I can help others like me.”
But the news certainly left the NBA world heartbroken and prompted a wave of support from the basketball community.

However, It is important for an iconic figure like him to address these health concerns to inspire others dealing with it and give them courage.
