Shaquille O’Neal Calls for Ben Simmons’ Arrest on Latest ‘The Big’ Podcast

Shaquille O’Neal is a person who loves to come into the limelight with his bold words. While most NBA fans know him for making controversial statements, nobody can deny that he is serious when it comes to players’ lack of performance on the court.

Unfortunately, Clippers’ Ben Simmons became the victim of his critical attention recently. O’Neal even went so far as to suggest that the Los Angeles Clippers guard should be “arrested” for what he described as “robbing people.”

These bold comments came from the NBA legend during a recent episode of The Big Podcast. The conversation shifted to players who, in Shaq’s eyes, haven’t lived up to the hype—or their massive paychecks.

That’s when he called out Clippers guard Ben Simmons. Shaquille O’Neal was upset because Simmons didn’t play well after signing a big 5-year, $177 million deal with the 76ers in 2019.

Simmons had many injuries and missed a lot of games. This made Shaq feel like Simmons took the team’s money without really playing, almost like he “robbed” the 76ers.

O’Neal said, “A lot of motherf***ers can’t play and they know it…Ben Simmons needs to be fu***ng arrested. $250 million for that sh**? Arrested! $250 million for that bullsh**? Get the f**k out my face. Robbing people, man. You can’t do that.”

While Shaquille O’Neal was busy calling out Ben Simmons for “robbing” teams, one of his fans turned the tables on him. The fan accused Shaq of not telling the full truth about the price of his custom red-and-black widebody Hellcat.

Shaquille O’Neal accused of Lying About His Hellcat Price

NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal recently found himself in hot water online after claiming his custom Dodge Hellcat cost $1.4 million. He proudly showed off the car and even let someone take it for a drive. But things didn’t go as planned.

Fans quickly jumped in, saying there’s no way a Hellcat—even with upgrades—could cost that much. Most custom Hellcats usually range between $40,000 and $200,000. Some people joked that maybe the seat adjustments cost him the extra million.

One fan laughed, saying Shaq must have hidden a $1.35 million bag inside the car. Another firmly said that the car is “definitely not 1.4 million dollars.”
