After Jake Paul offers Elon Musk to promote fight vs Mark Zuckerberg, Eddie Hearn deems ‘The Problem Child’ vs Nate Diaz a mismatch

Jake Paul is all set to square off against former UFC superstar Nate Diaz in an eight-round bout that will take place on August 5th at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The Problem Child will look to get back to winning ways after suffering his first professional loss in his last bout against Tommy Fury.

As the due date draws near, there are rumors suggesting that Jake and The Stockton Slugger are attempting to make this matchup a ten-round bout. Fight fans and experts around the world were all surprised after hearing this news as this looks like a bad move for Nate who will be making his boxing debut.

Eddie Hearn claims Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz is a mismatch

A few weeks ago, Nate Diaz released a video of him punching the bags on his social media handle ahead of his boxing bout against Jake Paul. Surprisingly, the former UFC fighter looked sluggish in the footage and consequently, he received a lot of criticism from fans online. Matchroom boxing promoter Eddie Hearn was one of the critics who was very unimpressed with Nate’s boxing skills on the pads.

The British promoter sat down to have a conversation with Ariel Helwani at the MMA Hour show. During this interview, Hearn spoke about how he felt the fight would play out. Eddie claimed that Nate Diaz will be light work for Jake Paul and the fight will most likely not go the distance,

“You know that. It’s gonna be a mismatch against Jake Paul, don’t you? I know you love Nate Diaz and I love. I’ve only met him a couple times. What a gent. But for it to be a mismatch against Jake Paul. It won’t go four (rounds).”

Jake Paul and Nate Diaz faceoff

Nate Diaz is known for his durability and cardio inside the octagon. But it will be very different when it comes to boxing. The ring is smaller and there is a big weight difference as Diaz has competed in the 170-pound division throughout his career but will be facing Jake at 185.

Jake Paul offers Elon Musk free promotion with PFL

Yesterday Elon Musk joked about being down to fight Mark Zuckerberg inside the cage on Twitter. However, things became serious after Mark reposted the tweet on his Instagram story using the iconic line “Send me location.” Thereafter Elon Musk showed mutual interest and their back and forth broke the internet as numerous celebrities reacted to this conversation.

Consequently, YouTuber turned pro boxer Jake Paul made an offer to promote Elon Musk for his rumored fight against Mark Zuckerberg in PFL for charity on Twitter. The Problem Child recently signed a deal with Professional Fighting League and is soon expected to make his MMA debut.

Following the news of a matchup between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk, Jake Paul will likely receive a lot of competition from different MMA organizations who will be wanting to promote the fight.

Dana White will be the favorite to win this battle as production and budget-wise, it’s really hard to beat the UFC head honcho.
