Dennis Schröder Heading to Golden State Warriors in Latest Trade Deal

Dennis Schröder is a German basketball player who plays for the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA. However, he is soon going to join Stephen Curry on the Golden State Warriors. The news came out unexpectedly, and the latest update is that the Warriors have agreed to trade for him.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Brooklyn Nets are trading point guard Dennis Schröder to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for De’Anthony Melton and three second-round picks. The trade won’t be finalized until Schröder is eligible to be traded on Sunday. Once the trade is official, Schröder will join a backcourt with Steph Curry.

Meanwhile, Ben Simmons could return to the starting lineup in Brooklyn. Schröder has had a strong season, averaging 18.4 points and 6.6 assists per game, and his addition to the Warriors will help their need for a reliable backup point guard.

The Warriors are hoping Schröder will help them improve their 14-10 record, as fans expected more from the team this season.

Fans react to Dennis Schröder trade news

Dennis Schröder’s trade is the big talk in the NBA right now. Even though it surprised many, he’s a good addition to the Warriors and can bring more scoring options to their roster. Many fans are excited about the trade, seeing Schröder as a valuable addition to the Warriors’ backcourt.

@JerichoXVI commented, “Another way to look at it Melton is out for the year and the Warriors replaced him with a decent active player, but we will see how he fits in.”

@fadde rote, “Damnnnn. This is a huge pick up for the warriors.”

@NBA_Hate_Watch said, “Gives the warriors the extra ball handler they needed but I have concerns on how he fits next to Steph. That back court is very small, although Dennis is solid at POA vs PG’s 6”3 and under.”

@BronMuse joked, “This trade was definitely Curry’s idea 🤣🤣🤣”
