There was a theory that Paul Heyman might align with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 41 and go against both CM Punk and Roman Reigns. But nobody thought WWE would legitimately turn this idea into reality at the main event. Paul Heyman literally aligned with “The Visionary” and left his Tribal Chief and best friend destroyed in the ring.
After that, the victorious Rollins and Heyman left the stage, while the entire sold-out Arrowhead Stadium saw the heartbroken Roman Reigns and CM Punk still in disbelief over why Paul did that. The way the climax of the story unfolded was truly shocking, but the ending was emotional as well.
In the climax, what followed was a heart-wrenching scene: CM Punk lay in the ring, looking utterly devastated, while Roman Reigns sat in disbelief, staring at Paul Heyman, unable to process what had just happened. Neither man spoke—there were no words needed. The heartbreak was written all over their faces.
The feeling of betrayal. The pain of trusting on almost everyone and every single on of em' stabbing him in the back. Those expressions describe it all 💔💔💔#RomanReigns #WrestleMania pic.twitter.com/K5JYhdEOlr

As Roman Reigns slowly walked up the ramp, the camera captured every expression on his face, and it truly broke the hearts of wrestling fans. Every single second, it looked like Roman was about to cry, but sadly, no tears came from his eyes. The same went for CM Punk. When the camera zoomed in on him,

Even backstage, Punk didn’t say a word to the interviewer. He had so much to say, but all he could do was stay silent, the hidden tears visible for every wrestling fan to see.

Forget about the viewers; the company itself acknowledged that it was mutual heartbreak for Punk and Roman. In the comment section, fans shared their alignment with the feeling conveyed in the caption.
