By winning his 17th title, though it was a dirty and controversial win, John Cena secured his name in the WWE history books. But now, many are debating whether his legacy has been tarnished because Cena’s effort to make the match entertaining was completely zero.
Cena, who was chasing his record-breaking 17th WWE Championship, faced Cody Rhodes in the highly anticipated event. Since the match was the main event of Night Two, it should have been full of emotion and action, but instead, it felt slow and sluggish.
Bewildered, fans in attendance and at home questioned whether the 16-time champion was past his prime. He used those boring locking moves multiple times against Cody Rhodes during the action, which disappointed many fans.
The match reflected the lack of energy & creativity storyline the last few weeks. We won't remember this match 20 yrs from now, only that Cena won in a mediocre performance. The hell the Rock been at? Tons of missed opportunities for this to be a storyline/match for the ages.🤷🏽♂️

Despite the apparent lack of effort, John Cena still managed to secure the victory, thanks to a controversial low blow and interference from rapper Travis Scott. Interestingly, Cena secured the victory without even using his finishing move to pin Cody Rhodes. It seemed like Cena tried his best to make sure the crowd hated their performance.
Though fans aren’t happy, John Cena still walked away successful. Sources close to WWE suggest that Cena’s performance was intentional, aimed at fueling his new villain persona. By frustrating fans and making his victory feel undeserved, Cena has effectively positioned himself as the most hated champion in WWE history.
Now, John Cena will officially ruin wrestling on RAW
Cena, now the Undisputed WWE Champion, had already teased his intentions during the post-show press conference at WrestleMania, where he dismissed every reporter’s question by calling them “clickbait” and “lazy reporting.”
Then he gave everyone a headline, declaring, ‘Tune into Monday Night Raw to see how I ruin wrestling.’ Given his bold and cryptic message, anticipation is at its peak, and whatever happens this Raw is sure to create another landmark in WWE history
