“I don’t get baited into technical fouls” Draymond Green brutally fires back to Dillon Brooks after Grizzlies victory vs Warriors

Tuesday’s 116-108 victory over the Golden State Warriors by the Memphis Grizzlies prompted Dillon Brooks to express his dislike for Draymond Green and the Warriors. In a post-game interview, Green delivered a caustic retort in response to the remarks, which didn’t sit well with him.

In the course of his conversation, Brooks remarked, “I don’t like Draymond at all. “I simply dislike Golden State. Anything about them bothers me.”

In his own post-game interview, Green—who finished with 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 10 assists—was asked about Brooks’ remarks. He responded without holding back, labelling Brooks an “idiot” and questioning his basketball acumen.

Look no further than this moron right here if you’ve ever questioned why the Memphis Grizzlies aren’t prepared to contend for a championship, Green remarked. “He claims that “his game is cool,” despite the fact that they are actually depending on him to assist them to win a title. Offhandedly, that really demonstrates how little you understand about basketball.”

Green responded to Brooks’ criticism of his play by asserting that if he played for a different team, he wouldn’t be the same player.

In his interview, Brooks stated, “His game is cool — with Golden State — but if you put him anyplace else, you’re not going to know who Draymond is.

Green responded, “Everywhere I’ve played, I’ve done well. I’ve succeeded. I’ve had success in both the NBA and college, winning championships in both. I’m not one of those individuals who wouldn’t succeed if you put me somewhere else. Everywhere I go, I’ll be successful.”

Green said that he doesn’t be lured into technical fouls when asked about his reputation for doing so, and he speculated that Brooks may have been attempting to do so.

“I don’t fall for technical foul bait. I play basketball well and am smart. They must earn a technical foul against me if they want one “Reddish remarked. “But I’m not going to fall for someone’s bait. That’s not how I roll. So, if he was attempting to do that, it was unsuccessful.”

Although Green’s response to Brooks was direct, considering his propensity for speaking his opinion, it is not surprising. It would be fascinating to see if there is any carryover from this exchange on the court when the two teams meet again on Thursday night in Memphis…

GSW’s Rise to Playoff Contention: Overcoming Adversity to Secure a Spot in the Postseason

The Golden State Warriors have remained a strong club in the Western Conference despite a rocky start to the season. They presently hold the sixth spot with a record of 34 wins and 33 losses, only behind the clubs in front of them.

The Warriors’ current performance elevates them to a genuine challenger status. With remarkable victories over elite teams like the Utah Jazz, Denver Nuggets, and Philadelphia 76ers, they have won 7 of their last 10 games. This suggests that the Warriors are peaking at the ideal time, which is encouraging for their chances of making the playoffs.

The Warriors’ victory was also altered by Stephen Curry’s injury comeback. Curry has an outstanding average of 30.4 points per game over his last 10 games. Because to his leadership skills and offensive prowess, he is one of the league’s most dangerous players and is capable of taking the Warriors to victory by himself.
