LeBron James explains why Stephen Curry is every team’s nightmare

LeBron James is often regarded as one of the best players ever to step foot on the basketball court. Breaking the all-time scoring record last season and setting a new milestone of 40,000 regular-season points by a single player sounds surreal. Playing in his 21st season, James is showing no signs of stopping and is still dominating the league as he used to.

It’s always fun to talk about the greatest, but what’s better is when the greatest talk ball and give their analysis and opinions about the game. Similarly, James has some analysis of his own where he talks about Stephen Curry and how he is a nightmare for every NBA team out there.

LeBron James reveals why every team fears Stephen Curry

LeBron James has big praise for his rival Steph Curry as he talks about how he changed the game of basketball since the day he got drafted. In a podcast ‘Mind the Game’ with former NBA player JJ Redick and LeBron James himself, James talked about the narrative, ‘No lead is safe’ and gave credit to Curry for making this impact on the game of basketball.

Redick talks about how in ”05-’06, teams entering the 4th quarter with a double-digit lead had no worries and would empty their bench, but now they cannot do that, to which James said, “I believe in ‘08, ‘09, or whatever that little light-skinned f**ker came in the league that’s in Golden State? He changed that whole narrative. … He single-handedly changed the ‘No lead is safe.’ It’s like Pat Mahomes right now.”

James also mentioned how Allen Iverson influenced the league with his killer crossovers with the ability to finish strong at the rim, his dreadlocks, and his arm sleeves, which everybody copies today in the NBA.

LeBron James’ bold Celtics NBA title claim

The podcast has more of James’ thoughts about the game, as he further says his praise for Jason Tatum as a young star and his ability to consistently win games. James said, “And obviously, everybody wanna see him get over the hump, but four conference finals and a Championship final before the age of 26 is elite. Like you just said, he has continued to grow and they are in a position where they can do another title run.”

James followed up by talking about Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis as valuable assets to the team. “Like I said, personnel helps. Adding Porzingis and getting Jrue for a bag of Lays potato chips, that helps as well,” said James.

The Celtics’ record this season has been a phenomenon, as they are the only team so far that has clinched the playoff spot and are also the most likely to win the NBA title this season.
