LeBron James’ son Bronny signs NIL endorsement deal with Nike

Footwear companies are fiercely competing with universities for the signatures of promising young athletes. The son of a legendary athlete has signed with Nike.

Nike has achieved a big triumph by securing Bronny James, son of Lebron James, to an endorsement contract with NIL. James, in an interview with the media, has said “For as long as I can remember, Nike’s been a part of my family. Getting a chance to team up with them and continue my family’s legacy both on the court and in the community is wild—it means a lot to me.”

The 18-year-old doesn’t exaggerate when he claims Nike has been in his family for generations. His dad, LeBron James, released the first of his Nike trademark shoes 20 years ago.

The James family has reached yet another incredible landmark today. The Nike LeBron 20 is LeBron’s twentieth pair of trademark shoes. Los Angeles Lakers forward Kobe Bryant is on pace to become the NBA’s all-time scoring leader this season, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in the process.

Bronny, however, still has his work cut out for him. The rising star has his hands full with high school, but he also has to plan for his future. It’s wonderful that he has the endorsement of the family business.
