Skip Bayless takes jab at LeBron James again this time referring NBA legend Michael Jordan’s historic All-Star moment

The NBA’s Dunk Contest has been in the news recently after G-Leaguer Mac McClung took it by storm, with many calling it a great success.

However, Fox Sports 1’s analyst Skip Bayless found a way to take a jab at LeBron James again. Bayless, a Michael Jordan fan, has compared James to the Bulls legend on numerous occasions, and he did it again last night by bringing up MJ’s historic All-Star Dunk Contest moment.

Bayless was very active on Twitter during the Dunk Contest and used the opportunity to criticize LeBron for never participating in the event. Bayless recalled MJ’s three Dunk Contest appearances and his iconic free-throw dunk, undermining LeBron’s status as the GOAT and questioning his ability to match MJ’s feats. Bayless tweeted, “It’s just too bad that LeBron never did a single Dunk Contest … while Michael Jordan did three and pulled off the most iconic dunk ever, taking off from the free-throw line. Never been anything like MJ, the undisputed GOAT.”

While it is true that LeBron has never participated in the Dunk Contest, Skip’s criticism is a bit exaggerated. He is right that LeBron could have established a benchmark for other players by participating, but we will never know what kind of dunks the Lakers superstar would have shown the world if he had participated.

However, given his reputation, it is safe to assume that LeBron’s dunks would have been something special.

It’s not the first time Skip Bayless has taken a jab at LeBron, but it’s all part of the game. LeBron has a great legacy and has achieved many things in his career, but he will always have critics.

In the end, the dunk contest was a great success, and LeBron’s absence did not detract from the excitement of the event. It’s just another opportunity for Skip Bayless to take a jab at LeBron and continue his comparisons to Michael Jordan, whom he believes is the undisputed GOAT of the NBA.
