“These people are the reason you make the money that you make” Fan smashes Lakers star Russell Westbrook hard after ignoring young kids who wanted autograph

The Lakers star Russell Westbrook is more than a great basketball player. He is also a celebrity and often gets mobbed by fans seeking autographs. Unfortunately, Westbrook recently found himself in a situation where he was unable to oblige to a young fan‘s request for an autograph.

The video, which was widely circulated on the internet, showed the nine–time All–Star getting out of his vehicle and completely ignoring the kid‘s attempts to get an autograph. Westbrook‘s reaction was not surprising considering his history of altercations with fans.

Westbrook is known for getting into heated conversations with fans, often leading to a physical separation so that the situation does not get out of hand.

Despite his reputation, Westbrook remains a dedicated basketball player and is currently averaging 22.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 8.4 assists, and 1.6 steals per game for the Lakers.

The Lakers have had a poor season, currently standing 13th in the Western Conference with a 23–27 record. However, the team are hopeful that the addition of Anthony Davis and the return of LeBron James from injury will help the team turn their fortunes around.
