The Mavericks hosted the Heat to break their three-game losing streak and succeeded in doing so. However, with this victory, they have won only two of the last seven games in the NBA. Even without Luka’s magic, the Mavericks would stretch their losing streak to four games.

The 23-year-old Slovenian is having a great season for the Mavericks, and one of the major motivators behind his stupendous performance is his father. Sasa Doncic was the first coach and mentor in his son’s personal and professional life.
How did Luka Doncic react after realizing his father was present at the American Airlines Center?
Luka was overwhelmed by such a magnificent environment during the winning game against the Heat. His family also appeared to watch Luka’s performance. In a postgame interview, the point guard expressed his excitement about knowing his father was watching him play.
“Yeah it’s amazing you know just for them to be here to watch me and support me it’s been amazing for me well,” the three-time NBA all-star said. It was also a treat for them to watch the young man end the losing streak for the team.
PG Doncic led the way with 34 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists in the win over the sixth-seeded Miami Heat. With this performance, the Euroleague champion scored his 20th 30-point double-double of the season, which is another league high in the NBA.
Despite the Mavericks’ shaky defense thus far this season, the team celebrated by keeping their opponent under 100 points. The whole atmosphere was much sweeter for the young professional.
