“I Would Rip Them” – The Undertaker Scolds Legendary Boxer’s Son’s for WWE Ring Bling

WWE legend The Undertaker grabbed attention in the latest episode of Legends & Future Greats on A&E. He didn’t hold back when talking about Elijah Holyfield, the son of boxing champ Evander Holyfield, delivering some tough words that quickly made headlines.

For those unaware, The Undertaker is currently fostering the growth of young wrestlers in WWE through the Legends & Future Greats (LFG) show on A&E. The show gives new wrestlers a chance to show their talent and win a WWE contract. Wrestling legends, including him, guide them along the way.

But one thing is clear—The Deadman takes his job very seriously. He wants the next generation of wrestlers to succeed, and he doesn’t allow anything weird or unprofessional during training.

Furthermore, he doesn’t care who you are or where you’re from. That’s why he didn’t hold back when he scolded Elijah Holyfield, the son of famous boxer Evander Holyfield.

Elijah Holyfield, who was on The Undertaker’s team, fought Chris Island from Mickie James’ team in a match that lasted less than four minutes. While Holyfield did some good moves, his flashy jewelry, like a chain and earrings, upset The Undertaker.

About that costume, he said, “If I was to work with you and you got in the ring with that chain and those earrings in, I would rip them out,” sounding very frustrated.

The Undertaker speaks on pain of retirement

WWE legend The Undertaker has recently talked about how hard retirement has been for him. After spending 30 years in the wrestling ring, he said it’s been tough both emotionally and physically to stop doing what he loves.

He retired in 2020. His last match was a special “Boneyard Match” against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36. It was a cool ending to his career, but because of COVID-19, there were no fans in the crowd. He said he still wishes he had a live goodbye in front of his fans.

In an interview, The Hall of Fame shared that sometimes when he goes to WWE events, he really misses being in the ring. “It’s still in my heart and in my brain,” he said.

He added, “In my mind’s eye, I could still go. In my heart, I wanted to go. But, I knew. I was like, ‘I’m done. I’m out of gas.’ It took me awhile to really come to grips with it, even though I knew I was doing the right thing.”
