The Undertaker Thinks John Cena Will Hang Up His Boots Forever After 2025

John Cena’s heel turn at the Elimination Chamber totally changed WWE’s landscape. Its tremendous impact left many wondering if Cena’s farewell tour could stretch all the way to WrestleMania 42. But The Undertaker believes Cena will quit wrestling for good after 2025 and never return.

On his podcast, Six Feet Under, WWE legend The Undertaker shared his thoughts on John Cena’s farewell tour, which started at the 2025 Royal Rumble. The Hall of Famer praised Cena for giving fans a chance to say goodbye, saying more wrestlers should do the same before retiring.

He said, “I love the fact that [John] Cena is doing this farewell kind of tour, and I think it should probably, for people in that calibre, hopefully it’s the model moving forward that you get to go.”

The Phenom added, “Although they don’t do many events anymore, but to go out and kind of have this tour where people can know, where they can see you and go and see it one last time, and you can address these audiences. I love that. Get your flowers.”

“But more so even for the fans to get that one last opportunity to see because I don’t think, once [John] Cena does leave, I don’t see Cena back,” said the Undertaker.

John Cena is getting ready for his final year in WWE and will face Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41. There’s a good chance this storyline will continue throughout the year.

Meanwhile, The Undertaker is making headlines with his role in NXT Roadblock.

The Undertaker delivers powerful moment at WWE NXT Roadblock

The Undertaker has made an unexpected appearance at WWE NXT Roadblock recently. Backstage, he took a special moment to offer advice and support to NXT Champion Oba Femi before his big match against TNA X-Division Champion Moose.

As Femi was walking backstage, he crossed paths with The Undertaker, a mentor to many up-and-coming wrestlers. The Deadman spoke to Femi, sharing words of encouragement.

“The Phenom” told Femi he was impressed and didn’t need to remind him how important the match was. Then, with a serious tone, he encouraged Femi to go out and defend his yard.
