Manchester United set to deny Adrien Rabiot’s £160,000-a-week salary demands as it’s too high

Manchester United is extremely struggling to build up a competitive squad despite recruiting a new manager from Ajax Amsterdam and also on the verge of losing some star players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcus Rashford and others.

Following the defeat against Brentford, the Glazer’s have assured that Eric Ten Hag will be allowed to spend more for players like Adrian Rabiot and many more in coming days.

Why does Manchester United hope for fewer expectations from Rabiot?

The poor start in the Premier League campaign has raised the eyebrows of many Manchester United critics over the sustainability of the current players, and they are also demanding proper answers from the United board on how to tackle this tough situation.

The board then indicated they would include a number of fresh players in the squad by naming a prolific French midfielder of Juventus who also wishes to play for the Red Devils.

Adrian Rabiot

United and Juventus have spoken about a possible transfer for the midfielder, who has one year left on his deal and he could be an ideal replacement for Paul Pogba.

However, Adrien Rabiot, a target for Manchester United, is said to want salaries of up to €10 million annually, or little under €200,000 per week according to many media reports but the Red Devils are refusing this because they think that the French midfielder is demanding too high in comparison to his capability.

According to many soccer pundits, the demand of Rabiot is now considered as an overwhelming thing and therefore, they posted, “Adrien Rabiot’s £160,000-a-week salary demands are currently deemed too much by Manchester United.”

Veronique, the mother of the France international, is his agent and has stated that she would only discuss the deal with John Murtough, the director of football at Manchester United.

If the two parties agree on a suitable deal, then Old Trafford will finally secure a coveted holding midfielder within a short time.
