“Both washed tbh”: NBA fans are torn as Russell Westbrook and Kyrie Irving’s workout session video goes viral

Kyrie Irving, the star point guard of the Dallas Mavericks was recently spotted with former Oklahoma teammate Russell Westbrook in a viral video circulating on the internet. Kyrie and Russell have not always been that close but have maintained mutual respect.

Russell Westbrook faced a bad time recently but he is still going strong despite the multiple trade rumors surrounding him. Even though he is currently not as effective as before, he has found his place in his team. As for Kyrie Irving, he signed a three-year deal with the Mavericks and things are looking good for him in terms of fortune and form.

The recent video showcased Kyrie Irving and Westbrook training alongside each other on a basketball court. In the short 10-second video we can see Kyrie passing the ball to Russell, who is positioned in the corner. After receiving the ball Russell drove inside the paint and towards the basket to jam in a thunderous dunk.

The nine-time NBA All-Star and the fourteen-time NBA All-Star both are exceptional talents and among the very best point guards in the NBA. However, both the stars are very much criticized off the court for their reasons. Westbrook had a disappointing season last year with the Lakers and Kyrie is mostly surrounded by controversy because of his statements off the court. This has made these stars the subject of a lot of online trolling by some fans recently.

The fans who saw the video of Kyrie Irving and Russell had a mixed reaction, some of the fans seemed happy and supported them with praises or motivating statements. While on the other side, some fans are taking this as an opportunity to troll or express their disappointment with the stars.

One fan commented, “Both Washed Tbh” indicating that he feels both the point guards have passed their prime and are not as relevant as before.

These comments should not mean much to the players as they both know their capabilities and strengths. Kyrie once appreciated Mr. Triple Double by saying that Westbrook, who is now playing for the Clippers, is one of the greatest point guards of all time and has inspired him to do things his way.
