Clippers PG Russell Westbrook’s brother has delightful reaction to Lakers D’Angelo Russell’s struggles

The brother of Los Angeles Clippers point guard Russell Westbrook, Raynard Westbrook, had a delightful reaction to the struggles of Lakers’ Point Guard, D’Angelo Russell.

The Los Angeles Lakers earlier shipped off their veteran point guard Russell Westbrook in exchange for D’Angelo Russell who later joined the Lakers’ cross-town rivals, the Los Angeles Clippers.

After Russell, Vanderbilt, and Beasley made their debuts, the Lakers had been playing rather well except for their last two games.  Although LeBron James has been out of action for the majority of that time, and Russell has missed three games due to an ankle injury, the team’s outstanding performance seems more impressive.

How did Westbrook’s brother react to a tweet against D’Angelo Russell?

Raynard Westbrook, the younger brother of Clippers’ Russell Westbrook, seemed to have relished the loss as he liked a tweet regarding D’Angelo Russell’s lackluster effort for the Lakers versus Dallas.

The tweet was obviously condemning D’Angelo Russell for his part in the Lakers’ last-second loss. Although Ray didn’t say anything, the simple act of liking the tweet is already quite revealing.

After re-joining the Lakers during the NBA trade period, D’Lo Russell has seen some significant ups and downs. Russell struggled to regain his flow during the most recent game against Dallas since the seasoned point guard had three straight games with terrible shooting. The Lakers’ status in the playoffs was in jeopardy after their team dropped two straight games, including a last-second loss to Dallas.

The Clippers have also had a 5-6 record since Westbrook joined the roster. With his current squad, Westbrook has also been inconsistent, despite a few eye-catching games.

Even though they are only two games behind Dallas for sixth place in the West Conference and are currently in 10th place, the Lakers risk losing their chance to advance to the play-in round of the playoffs.

After Russell’s brother liked the tweet, it quickly went viral, with many fans and followers chiming in with their own reactions. Some praised him for his sense of humor, while others criticized him for being too cocky.

This incident has once again highlighted the intense rivalry between the Lakers and the Clippers, as both of them are vying for a spot in this year’s playoffs.
