Clippers Star Kawhi Leonard Drops Mysterious Hint about NBA Return

The Los Angeles Clippers have a 17-13 record this season and sit in 7th place in the Western Conference, even though Kawhi Leonard hasn’t played a single game. Kawhi has been out with a knee injury since March 31, 2024.

While he has said he’s ready to return, the team hasn’t cleared him yet to ensure he fully recovers. Recently, Kawhi shared a New Balance ad that hints he might be coming back soon.

The 64-second video starts with Kawhi Leonard driving a classic 1963 Cadillac Eldorado. He hears a voice message from “The Game” as he drives. The female voice reminds him to stay on top of his recovery, family time, and media duties.

Kawhi then pulls up next to a man fishing—who turns out to be another version of himself. The fishing Kawhi turns on the radio, where an announcer hints at his return to the court.

Then the two versions of Kawhi chat start with one saying, “Yo, I know I could find you here…. Catch anything?” The second version replies, “There’s been good days, there’s been bad days, but I keep coming back. It’s the nature of the game.”

This message has sparked excitement among Clippers fans, who have been eagerly awaiting Leonard’s return.
