Seth Rollins & Cody Rhodes are two of the biggest superstars in the company right now. The Visionary is currently holding the World Heavyweight Championship while on the other side, The American Nightmare is currently engaged in a feud with the Beast Brock Lesnar.
However, the rivalry between Rollins & Rhodes is something that still exists in the WWE Universe. Recently, the World Heavyweight Champion issued an invitation for the American Nightmare ahead of his clash against The Beast Incarnate at SummerSlam 2023.
Seth Rollins welcomes Cody Rhodes to challenge for his title
The Visionary had recently appeared in a USA Today interview, where Rollins seems to be giving an invitation to Cody Rhodes for a Championship match but also trolled him in the process. Rollins said, “I would love for Cody Rhodes to come to try to take it from me,” the World Heavyweight Champion”.
The World Heavyweight Champion further added, “If he can survive Brock Lesnar, I would love for him to try to.” It seems like Rollins is all in to again revive his rivalry against Cody Rhodes but this time it will likely be for a Championship.
Rhodes set for tiebreaking match at SummerSlam vs Brock Lesner
At SummerSlam 2023, The American Nightmare is reportedly set for another clash against Brock Lesnar. This will be a rubber match between these two. For those unaware, a rubber match is basically a tiebreaker match. When two superstars had faced each other twice and both get a victory then a rubber match takes place to decide who is the winner of this rivalry.
Brock Lesnar had suffered the first loss against Cody Rhodes at Backlash 2023, however, the Beast made an impactful comeback by securing a dominating victory against Rhodes at Night of Champions 2023. There are also some speculations regarding the stipulation which could possibly be added to their tiebreaker match at the ‘Biggest Party of the Summer’.
On the recent edition of Monday Night Raw, the company announced that Lesnar will make his return to the upcoming edition of Raw. The Beast also responded to the challenge issued by the American Nightmare. It will be interesting to see how Lesnar will approach their tiebreaker match and whether there will be another chaotic situation between these two superstars.
