Following the sighting of rapper Cam’ron with Nia Long, many have speculated that LeBron James set them up as a way to exact revenge on Ime Udoka, the head coach of the Houston Rockets. Rumors about the two began when they posed for a picture at Rich Paul’s birthday celebration.
The rapper refuted any veracity regarding their relationship. Cam’ron claims that he got a good number of messages cautioning him not to screw anything up with Long. He claimed to be in no romantic relationship with the actress, saying he was just taking pictures with her.
Cam’ron was taken aback when Ma$e brought up rumors that the LA Lakers star had set them up. “I’m not with Nia,” he said. When Cam’ron heard the rumor that he was being set up, the two rappers laughed. He persisted in denying any involvement with Long.

Following their photo together at Rich Paul’s birthday celebration over the weekend, Cam’ron has shared the specifics of his most recent encounter with Nia Long. Their meet-up came after Cam revealed he once slid into Long’s DM during an episode of It Is What It Is.
“I’m not with Nia. People are doing exactly what you’re saying. ‘Yo, Cam don’t fumble this.’ Look, I met Nia Long. She was very, very cool,” Cam began. From there, he revealed that the two shared a laugh, while Long described him as “funny” and “Hilarious.” Cam then asked, “Did you see my DM?” to which Long replied, “I seen it… Now, that was fly.” Cam concluded: “That’s it people. We took a couple pictures.”
Cam previously revealed that he slid into Long’s DMs following her breakup with Ime Udoka. “You know, I DM’d Nia after the whole sh*t happened man,” he said during an earlier episode of his sports talk show. “I was perturbed. Imma have Stat read it cuz she’s a better reader.”
