Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson sent shockwaves through the NFL community with his high praise for his former Texas football teammate, Roschon Johnson, sparking excitement among Chicago Bears fans.
The Falcons selected Texas running back Robinson with the No. 8 overall selection in the 2023 NFL Draft. The Five-star recruit out of Salpointe Catholic High School in Tuscan recorded 1,580 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns, earning him the 2022 All-American.

The Falcons’ young RB Bijan Robinson was the star of the RB draft class, albeit he didn’t forget to heap praise on the fourth-round pick by the Chicago Bears, Roschon Johnson while opening up to the reporters at the NFL Scouting Combine.
The top draft pick raved about his former teammate saying people should not overlook the Bears RB as his skill set can make him stand out over anybody.
“Roschon is a god. He’s the other running back in this class, and I don’t think people should overlook the talent he has and the skillset that he brings. I think he’s just as good as anybody. His toughness and heart make him stand out over everybody”, he said via NBC Sports Chicago.
The 21-year-old also gushed about Roschon’s personality saying he possesses incredible leadership skills and mentioned him as the best teammate he had till now.

“Roschon is the best teammate I’ve ever had. He brings out so much in a player and the team just how he goes about being a leader. Not just his teammates but everybody in the community. I think that who he is as a person ask what he does on the field – I don’t think he’s overlooked because he chose his presence and made his presence felt”, the RB added.
The Bears selected Johnson with the 115th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and the 22-year-old RB will kick off his rookie season as third on the depth chart behind Herbert and Foreman.
With Robinson‘s comments causing a stir among Bears fans, expectations for Roschon’s performance have skyrocketed. The running back’s unique blend of athleticism and leadership coupled with the enthusiastic endorsement from his former teammate, has certainly created a new ray of hope in Chicago.
