Former WWE Champ Speaks Out on Disrespect from Vince McMahon

Former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal recently talked about how WWE CEO Vince McMahon disrespected him during his time with the company. This happened when Jinder was at the height of his career, during his feud with Randy Orton.

Jinder Mahal’s 2017 Punjabi Prison Match with Randy Orton at WWE Battleground was a huge moment in his career. The match was intense, lasting nearly 30 minutes, and the reaction from the crowd was wild.

Despite the hard work they put in, Vince McMahon, who was the chairman at the time, left Mahal feeling disrespected. Speaking on Maven Huffman’s YouTube channel, Mahal shared how McMahon’s absence after the match hurt his feelings.

He said, “Basically, we’re all just wrestling for Vince. When me and Randy [and] Great Khali came back, the ‘audience of one’ wasn’t there. He left. That was a little bit disrespectful. Even Randy was like, ‘Was he upset?’ And Michael [Hayes] was like, ‘No. He just left.’”

Mahal described Vince McMahon as a “one-man audience,” highlighting McMahon’s strong control over WWE creative. Mahal shared that earlier in his career, he was afraid of McMahon. But when he became WWE Champion, he had to work closely with McMahon, which gave him insight into his management style.

Kevin Nash on Vince McMahon’s wife Linda as education secretary

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash recently discussed President Donald Trump’s selection of Linda McMahon, Vince McMahon’s wife, as Secretary of Education. On his podcast “Kliq This,” Nash shared his support for her, saying she cares a lot about education and has experience in politics.

Nash said, “So number one, I thought she did a really good job… I know that her passion had she not went in the direction that she did with Vince and as far as taking over the company and getting in the wrestling business and being the CEO, I think her passion was always education.”
