This isn’t the first time Morant’s social media activity has caused a stir. Before now, the Memphis Grizzlies’ star, Ja Morant, posted a series of cryptic messages on his Instagram Story. These messages were quickly deleted. The messages were like texts to his family, including his sister, mom, dad, and daughter. And then he ended with “bye.”
This is kind of strange and disturbing because just days before, Ja was seen on Instagram live video where he was holding a gun in a car. And before that, a couple of months ago, he was in another video holding a gun at a strip club. According to the New York Post, after the release of the second gun video, the Memphis Grizzlies suspended Ja Morant from participating in team activities. Additionally, the NBA said it was investigating the incident.
Morant accepted accountability which is something his latest shirts seem to reference. He was quoted by Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter as saying: “I know I’ve disappointed a lot of people who have supported me. This is a journey and I recognize there is more work to do. My words may not mean much right now, but I take full accountability for my actions. I’m committed to continuing to work on myself.”
When will Ja Morant return to the NBA?

Following the announcement of the new season was the official announcement of Ja Morant in a tweet by the Grizzlies. The star point guard, Morant will be eligible to return on December 19th. That is after he finished serving his 25-game suspension. The Grizzlies will be playing against the New Orleans Pelicans on that date.
Ja Morant got into trouble because of two videos involving guns, which made the NBA take things seriously. Before got suspended for eight games before and even went for counseling.
