“I ain’t f-king done yet”: Eagles’ Jason Kelce puts retirement on hold as he plans to suit up for one last season

Fans of Jason Kelce can rejoice as he has declared his intention to stay with the Eagles. Because he still had so much to offer the club that helped launch his career, he chose to remain there.

Although defensive end Brandon Graham, who has played two more games than Jason, could surpass him first, Kelce is still 13 games away from surpassing David Akers for the most games played in franchise history.

Jason, the center, has been selected to six Pro Bowl teams throughout his career; Kelce has solidly established himself as not only one of the top players at his position in his generation but also a potential Hall of Famer when the time comes.

Is Jason Kelce resigning with the Eagles?

The Philadelphia Eagles selected this former walk-on running back in the sixth round (191st overall) in the 2011 NFL Draft. In the NFL Scouting Combine, Jason had the quickest time in the 40-yard dash among offensive linemen (4.89 seconds). Yet he created history by starting all 16 games at center for the Eagles as a rookie, and he recently gave a resounding yes to being back in 2023.

In his recent tweet, Jason has come out saying, “I have put much thought into whether it makes sense to play another season. After discussing it with my wife and many other friends and family, I have decided to return for another year. Thank you to all my supporters and detractors for fueling me, I ain’t fucking done yet!”

This bright star acknowledged his haters as a source of motivation, thanking his legion of followers on Twitter. After the briefing with loved ones, Kelce has decided it is not the right time to switch teams.

The return of this quarterback is fantastic for the Eagles since he is the center of the offensive line. The compensation will need to be decided upon if they haven’t already by the end of June.
