On Tuesday night, they lost a very close game, and fans are blaming Joel Embiid for a big mistake in the final moments. Many believe his error cost the team a sure-shot win.
The Philadelphia 76ers had a golden chance to win but let it slip away, falling 106-103 to the Toronto Raptors in the final moments. With just 20 seconds left and the team down by two, Joel Embiid had a clear shot at the basket.

Instead of taking it, he drove into a crowd of defenders, lost the ball, and handed the Raptors an easy chance to seal the game. Embiid had played well, scoring a team-high 27 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.
If the 76ers had won, he could have been the hero. But after his costly mistake, he ended the night as the one fans blamed for the loss.

Fans were already unhappy with the Sixers’ performance, and now they’re upset with Embiid since his choice to drive into the defenders went wrong.
Even though he scored the most points on his team, he was blamed for the loss. People on social media are literally hurting his reputation, calling it the worst game of his career.
