Jude Bellingham talks on suspension and fine after Valencia red card
Jude Bellingham was shown the straight red card by the Spanish Referee Gill Manzano after a chaos of an event happened following the final whistle in the match against Valencia. Gil Manzano submitted the Match report to the La Liga authorities who found Bellingham guilty and imposed a two game ban and €600 fine, Real Madrid has also been imposed a €700 fine.
Following the game, when asked by the reporter about the two match ban, Jude Bellingham handled the interview perfectly, at first he claimed, “I didn’t say anything offensive” adding to that he mentioned that the Referee was “making an example of me.”
The Maturity of the Englishmen was evident as he acknowledged and accepted the responsibility of his action. Despite accepting his accountability, he didn’t seem to be fully satisfied with the decision as he stated the two match ban “a bit ridiculous.”

Reports suggest that Jude Bellingham was found guilty of “contempt and disregard” towards the match referee. In contrast, Jude will miss two fixtures for Los Blancos. He will be in the stands during the Celta Vigo match on Sunday and also the Osasuna match on 16th March before returning against Athletic Bilbao on 31st March.
The Spanish football federation(RFEF) has imposed a two match ban against the player. Additionally, as per reports Real Madrid’s appeal claim that the referee had made an “error” which was also dismissed. So it is now clear that Bellingham would be not back in action before the late March. Recently, Bellingham was also involved in a controversy where he was on a verge of being banned after a similar incident of miss communication.
Fans have mixed feelings following this decision, expressing concern about the upcoming games with Bellingham suspended and several other players injured. Despite their confidence in Ancelotti, there’s a slight chance that things could go wrong.
