WWE’s move to Netflix is the biggest news in the WWE community right now, with less than 20 days left for this historic move. WWE is treating it like a WrestleMania-level moment, making every effort to make it unforgettable.
Sami Zayn, one of the original members of the Bloodline, recently shared his thoughts on this significant step for wrestling on a streaming platform that will start on January 6.
In an interview on the In The Kliq podcast, Sami Zayn talked about WWE’s $5 billion deal with Netflix. This deal will bring Raw and other WWE shows to the streaming platform.
He said that the full impact of this change might not be clear for another five to ten years, but it’s obvious that WWE is making a big move to stay ahead.

He stated, “Honestly, it’s hard to fully articulate just how massive this move is—not just for WWE and the wrestling business, but potentially as a litmus test for the entire entertainment industry. We may not fully grasp its impact for another five or ten years.”
Sami added, “I genuinely believe that will be the case. You can already see how fans have shifted from cable television to Netflix and other streaming services over the years. This is a huge step, and WWE has always had a knack for going all out when it matters.”
Sami Zayn breaks silence on Kevin Owens’ actions
Kevin Owens has been trying to take down Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes ever since Cody joined Roman Reigns at WWE Bad Blood in October. After injuring Randy Orton with a piledriver last month, Owens did the same to Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14.
Sami Zayn recently talked about Owens’ actions, especially his surprise attack on Rhodes. In an interview on the In The Kliq podcast, Zayn explained how Owens’ behavior has affected their friendship. Zayn admitted that he doesn’t fully understand Owens’ motivations but made it clear that he doesn’t agree with all of his actions.
He said, “Do I agree with all of them? No, I understand most of them. I don’t necessarily agree with all of it, you know?” Sami Zayn talked about his old friendship with Kevin Owens and said, “Also, here’s the thing, I think the way it affects Kevin to see, let’s say, Cody, teaming with Roman. I don’t know if it affects him the same way when he sees me teaming with Roman.”
He also wondered, “I don’t know that. Maybe it’s worse, maybe it’s better, but those are two very different relationships.”
