Karim Benzema is already a living legend in Real Madrid’s history. In the last UCL match against Liverpool, he scored two important goals to take the lead.
The 5-2 first-leg victory against Liverpool in the UCL proved, once again, that Real Madrid is never out of a game. Even though they were up 2-0, the Reds let the reigning champs back into the game with five straight goals.
After netting a brace in Real Madrid’s triumph, seasoned striker Karim Benzema entered an elite club that also includes another football superstar Lionel Messi.

The 2022 Ballon d’Or winner scored twice against Liverpool, becoming just the second player (behind Lionel Messi) to score in 18 straight Champions League seasons. In fact, he finished as the event’s fourth all-time leading scorer.
Cristiano Ronaldo, third from the bottom behind Benzema and Messi, scored in 16 consecutive Champions League seasons. PSG is hoping that Messi will perform against Bayern Munich as Benzema did against Spain, scoring two late goals to secure a victory.
At Allianz Arena on March 8, PSG will need a miracle from Messi and Kylian Mbappe to overcome a 1-0 deficit on an aggregate and proceed to the quarterfinals against the German giants.
