Kendrick Perkins ranks Jalen Brunson higher than Stephen Curry: “Best PG in the game”

During a recent episode of First Take, Perkins expressed his high regard for Brunson, stating that he wouldn’t trade him for any other point guard in the league at the moment.

Perkins went on to specifically mention that he would prefer Brunson over players like Stephen Curry and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, highlighting the level of respect he has for Brunson’s skills and contributions to the game.

While speaking on ESPN’s first take, the former NBA Champion was quite vocal in his support for Brunson. “I wouldn’t take one, nobody [over Brunson],” Kendrick Perkins said.

“And it’s no disrespect to Steph Curry, it’s no disrespect to SGA, but I’m not taking anybody over Jalen Brunson. Didn’t you see him handing out 42 pieces [points]? Did you hear what Mike Brown said about Jalen Brunson as far as the attention and the details they had to put around him?”, he added.
