This week’s Monday Night Raw was full of emotion when Kofi Kingston’s mom walked out during his segment. Moments like this don’t happen often in WWE. With the added family tension in the “New Day” storyline, WWE is trying to make sure Big E’s return and the “New Day” group live up to the excitement before WrestleMania.
After Big E was kicked out of the group, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods struggled to adequately explain their actions. They attempted to explain their actions on Monday Night Raw, but the crowd in Kofi’s hometown of Boston rejected him, resulting in a tense situation.
Kofi’s mom, who had come all the way from Ghana to support him, was upset by his actions and the crowd’s hatred toward his son. When Kofi tried to hug her, she refused and walked away. She then left the arena, leaving Kofi in disbelief.

The fans didn’t seem interested in hearing Kofi and Woods’ side of the story. Big E didn’t appear in the ring, but whenever Kofi and Woods tried to speak, it felt like Big E’s presence in the arena.
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods also face rejection in the locker room
After getting a lot of backlash from the crowd, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods faced more trouble on the latest Monday Night Raw from the locker room. WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio physically rejected them in the locker room.

In a backstage segment, Kofi Kingston and Woods tried to enter the locker room, but Mysterio, who is a locker room leader, stopped them. He told them that the other wrestlers were upset about how they treated Big E and suggested they change somewhere else.
