Kylian Mbappe’s fiery clash overshadows his brace as PSG succumbs to Nice in thriller

Kylian Mbappe is a born winner who has been winning trophies since a young age. The Frenchman has already won numerous domestic trophies at Paris Saint-Germain and the World Cup trophy with France. This year, he is again on a mission to help the club win more trophies.

That’s why he is always striving to be the best and wants to win all the games he plays. And so when he was losing a game yesterday, the World Cup winner did not handle it well at all.

Kylian Mbappe sparks heated altercation with opposing player

Yesterday, Kylian Mbappe was on fire once again, scoring a brace against Nice. But it was still not enough, as his team fell 3-2 to the visitors. Captaining his team, Mbappe did not like it when the opposition team took back the lead at one point.

When Nice player Terem Moffi managed to secure his own brace, leading to his team gaining another lead against PSG, he could not control himself. In a fit of happiness, the player opened his shirt and then went on to celebrate in front of the PSG home fans.

This annoyed Kylian Mbappe, who was clearly not happy with the player’s wild and provocative celebrations. He went over to him and was then seen scolding him several times. Moffi later received a yellow card for removing his shirt.

This made him a topic of mockery, with many calling the French superstar ‘salty’ and a ‘sore loser’.

PSG falls to Nice despite Kylian Mbappe’s double strike

Nice were the underdogs coming into the fight, but took an early lead in the 20th minute, when Terem Moffi had a deflected strike go past PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. The deflected goal came as a result of Mbappe losing possession in his own half.

PSG replied quickly with a goal eight minutes later, with Kylian Mbappe himself putting in a powerful strike to gain his first goal.

The second half did not disappoint as well. In just the 53rd minute, the visitors gained back the lead when Terem Moffi beautifully assisted teammate Gaetan Laborde who scored. Terem himself will go on to get his second goal of the game in the 68th minute, once again beating Donarumma.

Mbappe did not give up, managing to get a second goal in the 87th minute to make the game 3-2. However, it was not enough, as PSG were dominated by their opponents on their own turf.

PSG are currently fourth in the Ligue 1 table, with only two wins in the first five games, their worst start to a season under the current ownership.

PSG will have a chance to fix things when they face Marseille on September 25, but before that, they will face Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday to start their UCL campaign.
