Lakers HC hails LeBron James as “best QB of NBA” during undefeated in-season tournament streak

Lakers HC Darvin Ham recently praised LeBron by calling him “the best quarterback.”

LeBron James earns new title as NBA’s premier quarterback

Tuesday night’s 106-103 victory of the Los Angeles Lakers over the Phoenix Suns in the NBA in-season tournament quarterfinals was yet another example of LeBron James’ ability to flaunt his skills on the court and show no regard for his age.

After the game, King James was referred to as “the best quarterback” in the NBA by head coach Darvin Ham, who summed up his performance.

In particular, Ham spoke of the four-time MVP who either scored or assisted on all 19 of the Lakers’ first points in the fourth quarter against the Suns. After the Suns outscored the Lakers 35–24 in the third quarter, LeBron scored 15 points and provided two assists in that time to help Los Angeles regain momentum.

King James recorded a historic 31 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists, and 5 steals in his outstanding performance. He became the first Lakers player to record at least 30 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals in a game since Magic Johnson.

Lakers continue undefeated run with impressive win vs Suns

The Lakers remain undefeated in the in-season tournament with a victory against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night. LeBron James along with Anthony Davis and the young star Austin Reeves led the Lakers to victory with their remarkable performances.

LeBron signaled Austin Reaves to move off the right wing and dribbled around Davis’ high screen, luring Jusuf Nurkić into switching. Bron bounded past his on-ball defender, Eric Gordon, took a dribble, and slid past Grayson Allen’s and Nurkić’s outstretched arms for a layup. With 2:20 left, the crucial basket gave the Lakers a five-point lead (102-97).

LeBron James finished with 31 points, eight rebounds, 11 assists, and a season-high five steals in 40 minutes as the In-Season Tournament quarterfinals against the Phoenix Suns ended 106-103. With a record of 13-9 and a fourth-place finish in the Western Conference, Los Angeles qualified for the NBA In-Season Tournament’s final semifinal spot. The Lakers, who have a perfect record in the tournament at 5-0, will take on the New Orleans Pelicans in Las Vegas on Thursday.
