LeBron James turned 40 this season and is still playing great in his 22nd year. Even though the Lakers are struggling with wins and losses, LeBron continues to shine. Even after the Lakers’ game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on New Year’s Eve, he added another historic milestone to his amazing career.
Since turning 40, LeBron James has had amazing stats, better than NBA legends like Michael Jordan and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. In his first game after turning 40, he scored 23 points and had 7 assists, shooting 53% from the field. This is a big achievement, but LeBron made even more history during the game against the Cavaliers.
LeBron, who turned 40 on December 30, became the first player in NBA history to play both as a teenager and at 40 years old. He started his NBA career at 18 in 2003 with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Now, after playing for 22 seasons, LeBron has made history just one day after his birthday.
