LeBron James is the talk of the town after he broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s NBA all-time scoring record. Coming into the Thunder game, King James needed thirty-five points to break the record and become the leading scorer in the NBA. The L-train made sure that it would be this match that achieved greatness. 

Even though the Lakers lost the match 130-133, King James scored thirty-eight points and reached 38,390 points, three points ahead of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s 38,387 points. Following James’s new success, fans, ex-players, and stars from other industries have congratulated LeBron for his accomplishment, which makes him the modern great and certainly one of the greatest of all time. 

Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs quarterback, was no different. In his latest tweet, he congratulates LeBron James, the undisputed King of the NBA, claiming he became a part of history with a “legendary” performance.

Furthermore, LeBron, scoring the vital thirty-eight points, has improved his stats by a long margin. As it stands right now, in his entire career, LeBron has played 1,410 games, averaging 38.1 minutes in each game. Moreover, the King averages 27.2 points in each contest, with 50.5% of points coming in field goals.

On the other hand, while looking at this season’s stats of King James, the L-Train has played 44 matches where he spent an average of 36.4 minutes in each game and scored an average of 30.2 points in each game. Talk about being impressive!
