Lionel Messi won the greatest trophy on the international stage as he led his Argentina side to the top of the mountain in the 2022 FIFA World Cup hosted by Qatar. This has probably immortalized Messi’s legacy as the greatest player in the game of football. He is thought to have surpassed his idol’s title as the greatest Argentine player, Diego Armando Maradona.
It was expected to further seal Messi’s status as the favorite of the Argentine however there are some people in Argentina who do not feel the same as the majority of the population.

Who are the thugs that attacked Lionel Messi’s family business?
Last week, some thugs attacked and broke into the Messi family store reportedly owned by Messi’s wife Antonella. This was thought to be an attack by the Argentine mafia. They also left a threat to her and the rest of the family which stole headlines in Argentina.
Such a horrific event has left the Messi clan in shock. Messi’s wife has refused to go back to Argentina to even visit the damage until and unless the culprits are in custody. She reportedly even asked her husband to stop considering a move back to their homeland.
Antonella is worried about the future and hence the reason to reject any Argentina move. She reportedly asked Messi to join the Major League Soccer of the USA. Messi has been heavily linked to a move to David Beckham’s project at Inter Miami. Manager Phil Neville has said to the press that they are interested in tempting Busquets and Messi to leave the usually gloomy Europe and move to the relaxing sun of Miami.
