Man United set to get huge boost in squad following takeover of Qatari investors

Manchester United will get the chance to enjoy oil money after a Qatari Private Company approached to buy the club as Erik Ten Hag is doing an incredible job for the club since Sir Alex Ferguson’s era.

The Glazers family have decided to sell Manchester United amid the fury of fans’ protests and following heavy borrowings over the years which left the club in an incompetent position.

Earlier, Glazers would sell 20% revenue of the club, but following the confusion taking place over a few occasions, the American business family decided to part ways with the Red Devils.

“The strength of Manchester United rests on the passion and loyalty of our global community of 1.1 billion fans and followers,” the statement from the Glazers family reads.

“As we seek to continue building on the Club’s history of success, the Board has authorized a thorough evaluation of strategic alternatives.”

“We will evaluate all options to ensure that we best serve our fans and that Manchester United maximizes the significant growth opportunities available to the Club today and in the future.”

“Throughout this process, we will remain fully focused on serving the best interests of our fans, shareholders, and various stakeholders.” the official statement concluded.

Fans protested over the years which led to a home game being forced to postpone against Liverpool in 2021and now the official statement sounds music to the ears and Erik Ten Hag has every reason to be excited.

Premier League has witnessed the rise of the clubs like Man City and recently through Newcastle United with investments from Middle East countries as the Red Devils will be eyeing to taste the sweet experience after one private Qatari billionaire was reportedly interested and likely to blow away other deals.

Qatar’s monarch Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani is a lifelong Manchester United fan and he was the head of the mission to buy the Red Devils from the Glazers family.

$6B is the price tag to capture Old Trafford Theatre of Dreams away from Malcolm Glazer and the Qatari organizations are very serious about it. They are willing to reconstruct the stadium and will provide an exceptional training facility that will add up to $2B more to the investment which is nothing to worry about for the new owners.

According to the Daily Mail source, “These people are serious. They want to make sure that United are where they should be and they are confident theirs will be the strongest bid.”

“They want to strengthen the squad to put them back at the top but they also want this to be for the good of the community.”

Erik Ten Hag will be happy after hearing the reports and it is quite expected that he will run riot through the transfer market after the move is completed which Man Utd is hopeful will be finalized before the 2022/23 season conclude.
