NFL analyst sheds confident light on Draymond Green re-signing amidst Warriors’ new GM’s pledge for Jordan Poole’s future

Players looking for new and better opportunities are at an all-time high. Bradley Beal was all over the news for his trade with the Phoenix Suns, and the Warriors are not staying far behind.

The media has gotten a hold of rumors that insist Draymond Green is exiting the Warriors. However, expert NFL analyst Adrian Wojnarowski is positive regarding the player’s stay back with his current team.

A similar situation arose with the Warrior management keen on retaining star player Jordan Poole. General Manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. is eager to keep his treasure for the next four years, according to a video on Twitter.

NFL analyst is optimistic about Green’s re-signing

Upon his conversations with the Warrior’s GM and Green’s agent Rich Paul, NFL analyst Adrian Wojnarowski claims to be fairly confident regarding Green’s retention. Through his own Twitter handle, @wojespn, he shared a video letting fans know his thoughts.

Draymond Green is undoubtedly a powerhouse player. However, given his hot-headed incidents with Poole, it will be a challenge to have them both play together.

According to Wojnarowski, “Opting out was just for procedure. It made sense to do that financially and now go back and negotiate a new deal with the Warriors. These are two sides that very much want to get a deal done. Draymond and Rich Paul are not posturing and threatening to go elsewhere, even though there are great options out there for them… I think there’s a desire on both sides to stay together, they want each other.”

Will Jordan Poole stay with the Warriors

A controversial teammate of the forward has also been under talks of re-signing with the Warriors. This does not come as a surprise because most Golden State superstars have their careers almost setting. This means players like Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and even Green are not in their primes.

Jordan Poole

The obvious alternative? Jordan Poole. If the chosen baller can prove his mettle, he will definitely be the next big thing at Golden State.

Needless to say, GM Mike does not want to lose his precious point guard. In his own words, Poole will be with the Warriors “for four more years at least.”

At a time when team loyalty is a hot topic for debate, it will be interesting to see how these stories unfold. With two star players in a dilemma, the Warriors might find their chances slim in games soon or may come back stronger than ever with both on the team.
