NFL player Travis Kelce discloses plans to make WWE appearance with the help of The Miz

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce revealed his plans to step into the world of professional wrestling with an appearance on WWE, with the assistance of wrestling star The Miz.

Kelce moonlighted as one of the best tight ends in the league after being drafted in 2013 by the Chiefs and destroyed the model for what a TE could do at his age with the mark of catching 814 passes for 10,344 yards and 69 touchdowns throughout 144 games with the franchise.

The Chiefs’ TE Travis Kelce has discussed with The Miz to make a WWE cameo

The Chiefs All-Pro star Travis Kelce opened up to TMZ Sports about potentially getting involved in the WWE universe, drawing the example of the San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle making an appearance at WrestleMania 39 to help the former Indianapolis Colts punter turned WWE commentator Pat McAfee defeat The Miz in an impromptu match.

“My guy George Kittle was at WrestleMania throwing clotheslines left and right, man. It was awesome to see him go nuts”, he stated.

The inevitable Hall of Fame pass-catcher later revealed he has talked to The Miz about doing something in the wrestling world.

“But yeah, I gotta get involved somehow, someway. Me and The Miz have been talking a little bit about it, so hopefully we can brew something into fruition here”, Kelce added.

However, this is not the first time that the worlds of NFL and WWE have collided, as several football players have made appearances in WWE over the years including former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers legend Rob Gronkowski.

The eight-time Pro Bowler appeared in Super Bowl 57 in February this year, playing a Super Bowl with the Chiefs for the third time and grabbing it for the second time in the league.
