Many WWE superstars have either made WWE popular or gained fame because of it. But over time, they grow older and have to think about retiring, like John Cena and Rey Mysterio, who are nearing the end of their careers. This makes it the right time for WWE to focus on new talent, as they’ve been doing since last year.
With Solo Sikoa’s strong storyline development, he could be a big star in the future. Paul Heyman, who always thinks ahead, seems to agree on the same concept. He recently called Solo Sikoa Roman Reigns’ greatest rival, showing his confidence in Solo’s potential.
In a recent interview with Screen Rant, Paul Heyman, WWE Hall of Famer and manager of The Bloodline, made a bold statement that got WWE fans talking: he said Solo Sikoa is Roman Reigns’ greatest rival.
"I'm the bad guy because every time Roman needed help, I was there to help him. He was never there to help me. I'm the bad guy? No, I'm the Tribal Chief."

Say whatever y'all want but Solo Sikoa's promo skills have gotten so much better.
HE ABSOLUTELY COOKED HERE. 🔥#SmackDown pic.twitter.com/9v0YFwzAdF
Roman mentioned that Solo, who didn’t speak much before WrestleMania, has become a strong challenger. He even wore the Ula Fala and called himself the tribal chief, making people angry because they believe he might be right. Roman gave credit to Paul Levesque for guiding this storyline.
However, this is surprising, considering Roman has faced stars like Brock Lesnar, John Cena, and Cody Rhodes. Heyman’s comment shows how much Solo Sikoa has grown and the big impact he’s made in WWE.
Paul Heyman says no to absolute creative control in WWE
In the interview, Paul Heyman said he doesn’t want full creative control in WWE. He praised WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H for helping many talents become main event stars. Heyman also shared that he likes what Triple H is doing and how many wrestlers have moved up since he took over.
The Wiseman added, “So, while I appreciate the question, I have no desire to have full creative autonomy because I think what we’re presenting right now, and I think the box office and the ratings and the numbers and the merch sales and everything else will support this.”
