Rams’ TE Tyler Higbee is a recognizable name in the NFL, not only because of his game performance and skills but also due to his long-lasting journey with ACL and MCL. And now it is time to add a chest injury to the list because, in the recent wild card match against the Vikings, he needed to be shifted to the hospital immediately.
Before suffering the injury in the second quarter, Tyler Higbee was having a fantastic game with five catches for 58 yards. Higbee, who had just returned from a big knee injury in Week 15, was an important part of Coach McVay’s plan. However, a chest injury ruled him out for the remainder of the match.

“I think he’s going to be ok.”
After Higbee’s injury, Davis Allen stepped in and made a big play by catching a touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford. Reggie Scott and Byron Cunningham, the Rams’ medical team, are diligently assisting Higbee in his recovery. Coach McVay said, “It was just something with his chest. I think he’s going to be OK.”
Tyler Higbee’s setback doesn’t stop Rams’ TE dominance
Despite losing starting tight end Tyler Higbee early in the game, the Rams didn’t let it affect their offense. Higbee had been catching everything, but Davis Allen and Colby Parkinson stepped up to fill in.
In the second half, the Rams focused on controlling the ball to run down the clock and give their defence a break. Even though the Vikings had the ball a little more, the Rams stayed strong, leading by 18 points with 7 minutes left.

If the Rams hang on to win, they’ll play against the Philadelphia Eagles in the Divisional Round. If they continue their domination, fans can expect to see a highly anticipated rematch.
