Real reason why Tottenham return is off the table for Gareth Bale

Gareth Bale entered the elite level of football when he was in Tottenham Hotspur and eventually in Real Madrid, then never looked back until the end of last season after becoming a free agent.

The Welshman is in a good form, thanks to Wales National Team who recently beat Ukraine in the World Cup playoff and booked their place for the first time since 1958 at Qatar in coming November.

Gareth Bale’s deflected free-kick was the only goal that Wales managed to score during their decisive match against Ukraine on Cardiff. As always, his performance was better with the National Team despite playing a less football with Real Madrid on 2021-2022 season.

Where would Bale go next? 

Speculations and rumors are spreading since Gareth‘s departure from the Madrid capital as lots of renowned European clubs are showing interests for the 32 year old.

Theo Walcott, once the teammate of Bale, even triggered a possible return might happen but still these are rumors.

Some medias also predicted that Gareth might return to his native city, Cardiff and play for the city club for one season or two before finishing his career since he already possesses a house nearby.

Would Tottenham call him again ? 

Spurs fans around the world turned excited again after the departure of their legend Bale but still no official interest from the club for this winger. It is speculated that Antonio Conte is focused mostly on fit players and therefore signed the Croatian star Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan recently.

Is Gareth too old to be the main man for another club?

Football career for the highest level players always fall short after crossing the 30 year age and Bale is no different, however, exceptions also visible like Zlatan Ibrahimović, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and others.
