Shaquille O’Neal interested in buying Robert Sarver’s record-setting Phoenix Suns with Jeff Bezos

Phoenix Suns’ ownership saga following Robert Sarver’s announcement of selling his share took a new hit after the legendary Shaquille O’Neal expressed his interest in buying shares of the NBA side.

However, after acknowledging the interest of Amazon’s CEO and the world’s second richest person Jeff Bezos in the same team’s share, Shaq is ready to withdraw his interest.

By no means, Shaq is up for competing with Jeff Bezos to secure the Sun’s ownership. The Amazon CEO literally is the second richest person on earth. So, no matter how deep Shaq’s pocket is, he’s not crazy enough to compete with his “Big man JB”.

“Nobody on this planet can compete with Big Man JB,” Shaq said before making a joke by saying “Because you know what? I just ordered 50 things off Amazon today. Big Man JB got that money coming in!”

Shaq was by far the most fearless character on and off the field. Even after his retirement, Shaq still has that strong personality that makes him such an iconic figure. But when it comes to his big man JB, Shaquille O’Neal is big-time scared! “As far as trying to own a whole team by myself, and go up against — let me tell you something, I’m scared of Big Man JB.

However, if Jeff Bezos wants Shaq to join him in his bid to secure Sun’s ownership, the former Lakers’ legend is more than up for it. “If he wants me on board, I would gladly like to talk to him,” Shaq said.

Even though it’s still not confirmed if Jeff Bezos will be interested to take NBA legend as his partner in securing the ownership of the Sun. As these things take time for all the parties involved, only time will tell what happens next.
