PSG are considering bringing back their ex manager and Chelsea’s UCL winning boss Thomas Tuchel as Christophe Galtier could see the exit door following a dismal performance from the French club.
PSG’s loss against Bayern Munich on the UCL round of sixteen first leg at home proved to be costly in terms of the future of the French manager.

PSG gave ultimatum to Galtier as the second leg against the Bundesliga Champion on March 8 will decide whether he stays or leaves.
According to reports, Thomas Tuchel is high on PSG’s wishlist to lead the club after successfully managed the French Champions for two and a half years.
Tuchel was sacked in 2020 which was s shocker but before that, the German won six trophies at PSG, including two Ligue 1 titles, the Coupe de France, Coupe de la Ligue and two Trophees des Champions.

Thomas Tuchel also led PSG to their first ever UEFA Champions League final in Lisbon where the Parisians were beaten 1-0 by Bayern Munich after the PSG graduate Kingley Coman scored the winner.
“We were one game from winning the Champions League. We never had the feeling we had convinced people and that they recognised our achievement. It sometimes makes you a little sad and angry.”- Tuchel told SPORT1 following the loss agsinst Bayern Munich in the final.
Tuchel is famous across the Europe due to his tactical masterclass and for managing players exceptionally well as the former PSG manager helped Chelsea to win the UCL the very next year he was sacked by PSG.

After the arrival of new owner Todd Boehly at the Stamford Bridge, Thomas Tuchel was removed without any proper explanation as the German is now officially no club to manage and PSG sees this as an opportunity.
Christophe Galltier on the other hand will be desperate to produce a result in favour of the French Capital to save his job when they face the mighty Bayern.

Whether Thomas Tuchel will return to the Parc Des Princes is a question to be answered but PSG made a mistake by letting him go in 2020 as they are looking to rectify situation these days.
