Stephen Curry injury update: Warriors’ star set to return vs Lakers on Sunday

Golden State Warriors fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of their star player, Stephen Curry, who has been sidelined with an injury for the past few games. The team has struggled without him on the court, but the good news is that Curry is set to make his return against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.

This is exciting news for fans who have missed seeing their favorite player in action and hope his return will give the team the boost they need to make a playoff push.

What did Warriors coach Steve Kerr say about Stephen Curry?

Following his injury on Feb. 4 against the Dallas Mavericks, Stephen Curry has participated in several scrimmages over the last two days, including one on Thursday morning. Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Curry performed well in these scrimmages and did not experience any issues.

Although Kerr has confirmed that Curry will not be playing in Friday’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans, he will be assessed again before the team departs San Francisco for their upcoming three-game road trip on Saturday afternoon.

Thursday’s game against the LA Clippers marks Stephen Curry’s 10th consecutive absence from the court due to injury. Despite his absence, the Golden State Warriors have managed to maintain a decent record, winning five out of the nine games played during this period. This is not the first time Curry has been sidelined this season; he was out earlier due to a shoulder injury, and the team went 6-5 in his absence.

The Warriors have had an unpredictable season so far, with a slow start leading to a current fifth seed in the standings with a record of 32-30.

This is dangerously close to the play-in spots, indicating that the team must work hard in the remaining games to secure a spot in the playoffs. Curry has missed 24 games this season, making his presence on the court even more crucial in the upcoming games.

His presence on the court is sure to make a significant impact, not just in his scoring and playmaking abilities but also in his leadership and overall influence on the team.

Will Curry deliver on his promise by making an astonishing comeback? Time will tell. Stay tuned and find out on Saturday!
