Tiffany Stratton Captures WWE Women’s Title After MITB Cash-In on Friday Night Smacdown

WWE SmackDown made history on January 3 at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona. The show marked the first time SmackDown was three hours long. One of the biggest moments of the night was when Tiffany Stratton cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase and won the WWE Women’s Championship.

Tiffany Stratton had been teasing her Money in the Bank briefcase for months. Every time she tried, Nia Jax, the giant of the women’s division, was always a threat. But this time, on SmackDown just before Monday Night Raw’s Netflix debut, Tiffany saw her chance.

When both Jax and Naomi were on the mat, she informed the referee that she was ready to cash in. However, she then pushed him aside and struck Naomi with the briefcase. This helped Jax keep the title. But Tiffany wasn’t done.

She attacked Jax with the briefcase, then hit her signature move, the prettiest moonsault ever, to win the title. It’s great to see a change in the championship title.

With the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania coming up, this title swap could be a big part of future storylines. The most interesting thing is hoping Charlotte Flair returns for the championship.

Charlotte Flair could return to take the championship from Tiffany Stratton

WWE fans are excited because rumors say Charlotte Flair might return soon. She has been out since December 2023 due to a knee injury. This comes at a time when Tiffany Stratton recently won the WWE Women’s Championship.

Charlotte has been sharing her recovery progress on social media and might return for the Royal Rumble event. Fans are wondering if Charlotte will challenge Stratton for the Women’s Championship or possibly feud with Becky Lynch, wife of Seth Rollins.
