NFL Super Bowl weekend is over, but the impact of the win is still strong in the community. While most Eagles fans and players are celebrating, two Eagles stars have been fined for their actions during Super Bowl 59.
They are none other than rookie linebacker Jalyx Hunt and defensive tackle Milton Williams, who were punished by the NFL for breaking the rules during Super Bowl 59.
Hunt was fined $5,690 for doing a “bow and arrow” celebration after sacking Patrick Mahomes in the second quarter. The league said it was a violent act and unsportsmanlike.
Williams was fined $14,069 for dunking the football over the crossbar after a strip-sack on Mahomes in the third quarter. The league saw this as excessive celebration.

Both players accepted the fines, saying they got caught up in the excitement. Since they are still early in their careers and don’t earn huge money yet, these fines might hit them hard.
Fans rip NFL for charging Eagles rookie huge fine
The NFL’s decision to fine the Eagles’ rookie star has upset many fans. They think it’s too much and not fair, especially after a tough win. Fans are asking why a simple celebration is a rule violation. People on social media say it was harmless and just part of the excitement.

@MJRodnick blamed the league by noting, “$14k for a celebratory move that did not hurt anyone. How dare there be excitement shown.”
Appreciate you pointing out the ridiculousness here.
