USMNT Captain Christian Pulisic Officially Moves On to AC Milan From Chelsea with €22million Contract Till 2027

On his day, Christian Pulisic is one of the most exciting wingers in the world. However, the world hasn’t seen anything close to the excitement Chelsea saw in him when they signed him from Borussia Dortmund for €64 Million in January 2019. The USMNT captain has looked a shadow of a player worth that kind of money.

Although the American has won several titles with Chelsea, his time at the London club has been disappointing, and injuries have made it worse. After missing a substantial amount of games due to 13 separate injuries over the course of four years, the former Borussia Dortmund player is now playing catch-up.

His nightmare at Chelsea is about to come to an end as the American international is on the verge of completing a move to AC Milan, which will see the 24-year-old move away from the Premier League for the first time in five years.

Christian Pulisic Officially Joins AC Milan with €22 Million Contract

It was reported by Fabrizio Romano last week that AC Milan had reached an agreement with Chelsea for the signing of Christian Pulisic for €22 million. This will make the American AC Milan’s second summer signing from Chelsea after Ruben Loftus-Cheek completed a switch to Italy last week.

AC Milan has provided the American with an opportunity to turn his career around in the Serie A following five disastrous years at  Stamford Bridge. Pulisic will officially join AC Milan once he completes his medical and sign his contract to tie him down to the Rosanerri until 2027.

The USMNT captain will play alongside familiar faces at AC Milan. He will be the third Chelsea player in AC Milan’s books after Fikayo Tomori and Ruben Loftus-Cheek in recent years. The trio will hope to help AC Milan challenge on all fronts next season, as the Milan club went trophyless last season after a title-winning campaign in 2022.

Chelsea Want to Sign Rayan Cherki to Replace Christian Pulisic

Chelsea have either sold or released eleven players as they Blues continue to trim down a bloated squad that finished twelfth place in the Premier League last season. With Mauricio Pochettino taking control as the manager, Chelsea are now looking to sign Rayan Cherki from Lyon to replace the outgoing Christian Pulisic.

The 19-year-old French midfielder plays for Lyon after signing his professional contract with the French club in 2019. He has scored five goals in 83 matches for Lyon so far and may be an exciting replacement for Pulisic at Stamford Bridge. ESPN reports that the Blues are exploring making an opening bid for Cherki.
