Watch: Cristiano Ronaldo rushes off pitch amid brutal altercation with teammate

Cristiano Ronaldo was seen storming off the pitch following Al-Nassr’s goalless draw against 11th-place Al-Feiha.

Today was another disappointing day for Cristiano and co. in the Saudi League, as they failed to gain full points following a mediocre performance from the whole team. Al-Nassr had 18 attempts at Al-Feiha’s goal, with none finding the back of the net.

Ronaldo’s performance especially was quite poor, as the five times Ballon d’Or winner struck the ball into the hands of goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic, who gave the ball a kiss in the 68th minute.

Ronaldo later fired the ball twice over the crossbar. The Saudi League’s top scorer, Anderson Talisca, also failed to provide any impact.

Following the defeat, Cristiano Ronaldo was seen getting into an argument with an opposition player and then storming off the pitch in viral video footage.

The draw was devastating for Al-Nassr’s title hopes, as Al-Ittihad took full advantage of the situation to increase their lead to three points and further cement their position at the top of the table. Al-Ittihad currently has 56 points in 23 games, while Al-Nassr is trailing them by 3 points with the same number of games played.

Al-Feiha went on to further mock Cristiano Ronaldo

After the game, Al-Feiha took to Twitter to further mock Cristiano Ronaldo. They recreated a famous advertisement of Ronaldo and Messi with their captain, Sami Al-Khaibari sitting in front of a chess table. They posted the edited image on their official Twitter account, captioning the picture “checkmate.”

Al-Nassr coach Rudi Garcia expressed his disappointment through an interpreter to the Saudi Sports Company.

“The result is definitely bad, and we are not happy,” he said. He then continued: “I don’t feel satisfied with the players’ performance. I asked them to play at the same level as the last game, but this didn’t happen.”

Al-Nassr will be giving everything in their upcoming game against Al-Hilal on April 18, with hopes of keeping the title hopes alive.
