Who is Sean McVay’s wife, Veronika Khomyn, giving birth to the couple’s son?

Besides his football prowess, Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay has extraordinary dedication in his personal life. He exhibits devotion and responsibility in ways that go beyond sports as a loving husband and soon-to-be father. The coach and his wife, Ukrainian model Veronika Khomyn, have made headlines recently as they prepare for the birth of their first child.

In a stunning demonstration of family and football commitment, the “offensive genius” has made a firm promise to temporarily forgo his NFL career in order to embrace the impending arrival of his kid.

Meeting Sean McVay’s wife Veronika Khomyn

Veronika Khomyn, the Ukrainian model and realtor, crossed paths with Sean McVay during his tenure as an assistant coach for the Washington Commanders in Washington DC. At the time, she was a college student at the University of Virginia.

Veronika reportedly earned her bachelor’s degree in international business from George Mason University and a master’s degree in global management from Arizona State University.

In 2019, Sean McVay made their commitment official during a vacation in France, as Veronika took to Instagram to share the news, captioning the post with, “Can’t wait to call him my husband.” On June 4, 2022, the couple reportedly tied the knot in Los Angeles, solidifying their union.

Aside from their personal lives, both individuals are prosperous in their respective fields and consistently express public support for each other. The native Ukrainian wife migrated to the United States in 2009. However, following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the model has shown unwavering solidarity with her home country by sharing her thoughts and support on various social media platforms. She describes the day of the invasion as one of the most challenging in her life.

McVay sets his priorities straight

At 37 years old, Sean McVay, the head coach, has a wife whose due date is rapidly approaching. He remains fully committed to the NFL, expressing that his son understands not to arrive during a game. Nevertheless, he has mentioned considering a brief hiatus from the NFL upon the arrival of their child.

Earlier on, he expressed, “Really feel fortunate that it’s been a smooth pregnancy, my wife has been incredible and, so, it hasn’t quite hit me yet. He’s active right now, it seems like he’s ready to come at any moment. What a blessing that will be”

Although not officially confirmed, Raheem Morris or Mike LaFleur is likely to be Sean’s proxy if it is Veronika’s delivery on Sunday and he misses out on the game.
