Sadly he has not fully recovered yet and may need more time to get back in the game. This did not stop Bournemouth from making an offer and stealing Tyler away from Leeds United.

Details on Tyler Adams’ $29M contract with Bournemouth

Tyler Adams has joined Bournemouth from Leeds United for 29 million dollars on a five-year contract. Options were available to him as other big names in Europe such as Chelsea were interested in signing him but he had other plans. This is probably a positive turn for Tyler’s career as his former club is no longer competing in the Premier League after being relegated to the Championship.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed Tyler’s move on his Twitter handle. Before Leeds United, he was an important player for the German club, RB Leipzig. He scored an important goal against Atletico Madrid in the 2020 Champions League quarter-finals carrying his club to the semis of the tournament.

Adam signed for Leeds United in July 2022 for a five-year contract but Bournemouth successfully signed him by triggering his release clause. Though the player is currently unable to play he should be able to make an appearance in the not-so-distant future.

The club appears more than happy with this signing as of now. “We’re thrilled to have brought Tyler to the club and he is a player we’ve admired for a long time,” said chief executive Neill Blake.
